Coming from Indeokwon

From Indeokwon Station (Line 4), E-Think Dental Clinic is about a 5-minute drive. Traffic changes that, so check Naver Map before you set off. If you are making that journey by car, this page starts with the part that usually goes wrong at the end of it: where to leave the car once you are here.

Where to park

The building the clinic is in is a parking building, so parking and arriving are the same stop. Patient parking is available on floors 1, 3 and 4, free for up to three hours — those are the floors set aside for patients, and they are not consecutive.

Please ask reception if you cannot find a space, rather than paying for one outside. If your appointment is likely to run beyond three hours, it is worth asking about parking when you book.

Driving yourself, the building you are aiming for is the one the marker sits on — you park in it and arrive in it.

The same address in Latin script is Room 201, 312 Simin-daero, Dongan-gu, Anyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. In Kakao T or Naver Map, searching the Korean clinic name brings up the same place.

Opening hours

The clinic is open every day of the year, so a weekend drive over is a normal appointment rather than an emergency arrangement.

Booking

Booking ahead is recommended, and a little more so when you have driven. Waiting and treatment times may vary, so a long appointment can run past the three free hours.

Health insurance

If you hold an Alien Registration Card

Foreign residents enrolled in Korea’s National Health Insurance (NHIS) are covered here the same way Korean patients are. Everyday dental care — check-ups, scaling (covered once a year for patients aged 19 and over), fillings, root canal treatment, extractions and gum treatment — is generally covered, so you pay only the patient share.

Cosmetic and elective work — veneers, whitening and most orthodontic treatment — is not covered, and implants are covered only in the limited cases NHIS defines. Coverage rules are set by NHIS and change from time to time, so please bring your ARC and let us check what applies to your treatment before you decide.

Language

If you are worried about the language

Consultations are conducted in Korean. A few things make a first visit easier: send your questions ahead on KakaoTalk or by email so they are on the record before you arrive, bring a written note of your symptoms and any medication you take, and bring a friend, colleague or family member to interpret if you would like to. Nobody will rush you through the explanation.

Common questions

How far is the clinic from Indeokwon Station?

About a 5-minute drive, though traffic changes that. Check Naver Map for current directions and travel times.

Where do I park, and for how long?

The clinic is inside a parking building. Patient parking is available on floors 1, 3 and 4, free for up to three hours, and the clinic is Room 201 on the second floor. Please ask reception if you cannot find a space.

Is it worth driving rather than taking the subway?

That depends on your day rather than on us. What the clinic can tell you is that it sits inside the parking building, so there is no separate car park to find and no walk at the end of it.

What are the opening hours?

Weekdays 10:00-21:00 with a lunch break from 13:00 to 14:30; weekends and public holidays 10:00-14:00 with no lunch break. The clinic is open every day of the year.

Plan your visit

Find our address, parking details, opening hours and language information on Contact & Directions. Hours can differ on some public holidays, so please call before you set out.
