Article 1 (Purpose)

These terms set out the conditions and procedures for using the website (ethinkdent.com, "the site") operated by Pyeongchon E-Think Dental Clinic ("the clinic"), and the rights and obligations of the clinic and of users.

Article 2 (Publication and amendment of these terms)

The clinic publishes these terms on the site.

The clinic may amend these terms within the limits of applicable law. Where it does so, it states the effective date and the reason for the amendment and gives notice on the site from seven days before that date.

Article 3 (Website services)

The site provides information about the clinic, its dentists and its treatment, publication of fees not covered by insurance, treatment columns and dental health information, and a function for requesting a consultation online.

Medical information published on the site is general guidance. It is not a diagnosis of, or a prescription for, any individual patient. Symptoms and treatment differ from person to person, so any actual decision is made after an examination and consultation at the clinic.

Article 4 (Copyright in published material)

Copyright in the text, photographs, video and diagrams published on the site belongs to the clinic or to the rightful owner.

Users may view and print the content for their own reference, but may not reproduce, distribute or transmit it, or use it for commercial purposes, without the clinic's prior consent.

The conditions under which search engines and AI services may use the site are stated separately in robots.txt.

Article 5 (Obligations of users)

Users must enter accurate information when requesting a consultation. Any disadvantage arising from information that is not accurate is borne by the user.

Users must not misappropriate another person's information, interfere with the operation of the site, or damage the reputation of the clinic or of any third party.

Article 6 (Protection of personal data)

The clinic protects users' personal data in accordance with applicable law. What is collected, why it is used and how long it is kept are set out in the privacy policy.

Article 7 (External links)

The site may provide links to external sites for reference. In particular, the treatment columns and the dental health information cite material from bodies such as the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency, the Korean Dental Association and public health bodies abroad, with the source given.

The clinic is not responsible for the content of external sites that are linked to.

Article 8 (Suspension of the service)

The clinic may temporarily suspend the site for reasons such as system maintenance, replacement of equipment or a communications failure.

Planned suspensions are announced in advance. Where advance notice is not possible for unavoidable reasons, notice is given afterwards.

Article 9 (Limitation of liability)

The clinic is not liable for a failure to provide the site caused by events beyond its control, such as a natural disaster or a communications failure.

The clinic is not liable for the consequences of a decision a user makes on the basis of the medical information on the site alone. This provision does not limit the clinic's liability for treatment it has actually provided.

Article 10 (Resolution of disputes)

Where a dispute arises in connection with these terms, the clinic and the user shall consult in good faith to resolve it.

Where such consultation does not succeed, an action may be brought before the court having jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.
